Power Camp for Kids

Over the term break (there are 3 terms in the Swazi school year) we not only had youth celebrations and a medical team come through but we had Kids Power Camp at both Fonteyn and Mangwaneni, Mbabane.
The theme was God's Power! With singing and puppets and lots of fun!
They taught the story about Jesus calming the seas by having the children act out the story in the boat with the wind (fan) and waves (squirt bottles) while Jesus slept and then Jesus rose and ordered the wind and waves to be still.
Faces painted!!!
They made power wheels and talked about we need God's power just like the wheels need the air to move!!!
Played with the parachute and learned about God's power to protect and bring us safely down when we have troubles!
Learned some dance moves to "Love is Deep" as they learned about the power in God's love!!
Saw video on the "Miracles of Jesus"
And of course had snacks and learned the memory verse Psalms 46:1
"God is our refuge and strength, always ready to help in times of trouble."
And got to be engulfed in a giant bubble to learn God's protection and power surrounds us all!!!
Anyone who doubts you can learn about God while having tons of fun should come to one of the camps!!!!
WE LOVE JESUS!!!

Blessings to you and your staff for the work you are doing. You are the hands of CHRIST extended.Doing the work HE would do. Lub ya for it.

:) Thank you!! Maryann and Danny (with Bible Clubs) and Mark and Kay (with youth) did a fantastic job of mixing fun with learning who God is! It is getting cold here! I don't know how kids stay warm at night or when they walk to school in the morning cold. Thanks for the encouragement!
